Most people have a set of habits that they move through life with, habits that over time, have resulted in routine and patterns. Patterns may have been carried from childhood or as a result of different occurrences in our lives. Most have been repeated so many times that they have become to feel natural and part of the way we are.
However, not all patterns and habits are healthy and wanting to change is the first step in the process. Wanting to change and actually doing it are two different things.
For example, if you decide that you want to improve your health and fitness by beginning an exercise routine today, a little voice in your head (with a lot of power) sometimes says ‘let’s start tomorrow instead.’
